The fruit of a musical encounter between Dominic Desrochers, Jean-François Dumas and Véronique Plasse, Bon Débarras– winner of the Félix Award for Album of the Year for Traditionnel, with its latest album, Repères – stands out for its original compositions and musical climates combining guitar, banjo, fiddle and harmonica on tunes accentuated by podorythmy, jigging and body percussion. Firmly rooted in their Quebec roots, this Montreal trio, inspired by their travels, offer music that rumbles with love and rocks with energy.
