Eyes turned to the future

In 2024, Saint-Albert proudly celebrates its 150th anniversary, marking a rich and forward-looking history. Our small community is brimming with promising projects that strengthen our identity. In the heart of our village, La Fromagerie, the emblem of our community, is growing rapidly. Currently undergoing expansion, it embodies our economic dynamism. The school is also seeing an increase in enrolment, a sign of a flourishing future. Our community involvement remains at the forefront, with improvement projects in the park and the completion of a residential development of over 100 homes begun in the early 2000s. A second project for around a hundred homes is already in the pipeline, and the Lajoie residence has doubled its capacity, testifying to a new collective momentum.

Certainly, challenges lie ahead, not least for our aging Community Centre. Crucial decisions about its future will be required. However, with community spirit and determination, we will overcome these challenges and move towards renewal for the next 150 years. The community has also adopted a new logo, a unifying brand image that will unite residents around shared values. The ever-growing St-Albert region and neighboring villages give us access to a wide range of nearby services.

The future looks bright for St-Albert, with a united community ready to meet the challenges and shape a prosperous future. Together, we will write the next chapters of our history with optimism and determination.
